Un hombre revisita la caída de su padre en la Garganta del Diablo a través de las imágenes que él dejó. Entre el eco del agua y el aparente silencio del archivo emerge un vacío que es revelado cuando el reflejo en el agua ya no es el de ellos, sino el nuestro. Un viaje en el tiempo entre el duelo y la redención.
A man retraces his father’s fall into the Devil’s Throat through the footage he left behind. Between the water’s echo and the archive’s hollow silence, a void emerges, exposed only when the reflection in the water is no longer theirs but ours. A journey through time, between grief and redemption.
Mateo Ramírez
Cineasta y productor colombiano, cofundador del laboratorio Tristes Tigres. Su obra parte del cine experimental y de ensayo para explorar la memoria, la masculinidad y la identidad. Comunicador social de la Javeriana con estudios en guion documental en la UNAM, ha participado en la producción de series, cortometrajes y festivales como DocsMX, Shorts México y BOGOSHORTS. Actualmente combina la distribución cinematográfica en Cineplex con su práctica como realizador.
Colombian filmmaker and producer, co-founder of the laboratory "Tristes Tigres". His work is rooted in experimental cinema to explore memory, masculinity, and identity. Communicator from Universidad Javeriana with studies in documentary screenwriting at UNAM, he has been involved in the production of series, short films, and festivals such as DocsMX, Shorts México, and BOGOSHORTS. He currently works in film distribution at Cineplex, alongside his practice as a filmmaker.
