Por primera vez, BOGOSHORTS abre la categoría de Corto Periodístico, un espacio que reconoce la expansión del formato corto más allá del cine de autor y su creciente protagonismo en el ámbito informativo y documental. En un año en que se conmemoran los 100 años del nacimiento del periodista Guillermo Cano, símbolo de valentía frente a la censura y la violencia, el festival rinde homenaje al poder de la imagen para revelar, denunciar y transformar.
Esta conversación reunirá a varios de los realizadores participantes en la nueva competencia para reflexionar sobre la fuerza visual del periodismo contemporáneo, su adaptación a las narrativas digitales y su capacidad para construir verdad en tiempos de inmediatez. Un encuentro que celebra la unión entre rigor periodístico y sensibilidad cinematográfica, y que invita a repensar cómo el formato corto se ha convertido en una herramienta esencial para comprender el mundo.
For the first time, BOGOSHORTS is opening the Journalistic Short Film category, a space that recognizes the expansion of the short format beyond auteur cinema and its growing prominence in the field of news and documentaries.
