¿Cuál es la carga viral del activismo? What is the viral load of activism?
La llegada de la pandemia ha puesto en el centro de la vida colectiva una pregunta: ¿cuál es la situación social a nivel global? Para abordar la discusión sobre cómo el cortometraje ha afrontado estas temáticas y el efecto de la pandemia sobre éstas, conversarán en este panel: Julián Santana, coordinador del laboratorio ciudadano de creación y experimentación audiovisual ‘Little Brother and Sister are Watching You’, que en la cuarentena se centró en registrar violaciones a los derechos humanos; Daniel Santiago Cortés, de Monociclo Cine, que en su cortometraje ‘84’ (CN-DOC), habla de la violencia sistemática y del asesinato de líderes sociales que viene sucediendo en Colombia desde hace décadas; y Wilson Arango, director de los cortos ‘Líneas invisibles’ (CN-DOC) y ‘Ruta 60’, que retratan hechos en torno a la violencia de la historia reciente de Medellín.
The arrival of the pandemic has put a question at the center of collective life: what is the social situation around the globe? To discuss how the short film has addressed these issues and the effect of the pandemic on them, the following guests will dialogue in this panel: Julián Santana, coordinator of the citizen laboratory of audiovisual creation and experimentation ‘Little Brother and Sister are Watching You‘, which during the quarantine focused on registering human rights violations; Daniel Santiago Cortés, from Monociclo Cine, who in his short film ‘84’ (CN-DOC) talks about the systematic violence and murdering of social leaders that has been taking place in Colombia for decades; and Wilson Arango, director of the short films ‘Líneas invisibles‘ (CN-DOC) and ‘Ruta 60‘, which portray events surrounding the violence in Medellín‘s recent history.
