El centenario de la publicación de La vorágine, de José Eustasio Rivera, ha provocado diversas conversaciones a lo largo del año, pero la más importante tal vez sea aquella relacionada con el vínculo que la humanidad ha establecido con la naturaleza: es urgente el llamado de la sociedad civil a exigir a los gobiernos y todos los gobernantes del mundo que se comprometan con el cuidado del que es nuestro hogar común, la Tierra. Desde BOGOSHORTS, se han reunido diversos cortometrajes que insisten en escuchar las voces de comunidades indígenas que desde hace siglos han buscado una buena convivencia con la naturaleza y por eso en esta edición queremos pensar en el cine como una herramienta y un arma para la lucha por el medioambiente.
The 100th anniversary of the publication of La vorágine, by José Eustasio Rivera, has ignited several conversations throughout the year, but perhaps the most important is the one related to the link that humanity has established with nature: it is urgent the call of civil society to demand that governments and all the rulers of the world commit to the care of what is our common home, the Earth. BOGOSHORTS has gathered several short films that insist on listening to the voices of indigenous communities that for centuries have sought a good coexistence with nature and that is why in this edition we want to think of film as a tool and a weapon for the fight for the environment.
