Estudió Política e italiano en Alemania e Italia. En 1981 fundó el cine de la casa de arte ‘Eiszeit’ en Berlín, que dirigió durante 9 años. Desde sus comienzos en 1982, dirige el Festival Internacional de cortometrajes y distribución de Berlín - Interfilm. En 1986 dirige el Festival de Cine Documental de Berlín. Fue codirector artístico del festival de cortometrajes ‘Pollicino’ en Catania, Sicilia, de 1990 a 1996 y director y cofundador entre 2001 y 2012 del festival de cortometrajes ‘Going Underground’ celebrado en los trenes del Metro de Berlín y Seúl. También es cofundador y curador del premio de cine de poesía Zebra que desde 2002 presenta cortometrajes que interpretan poemas. En 2014 fundó y dirigió el primer festival de cortometrajes ShortVisions en Ningbo, China. Fue vicepresidente del Foro de Cine Jinzhen en Hancheng y profesor invitado de dramaturgia de películas cortas en la Universidad SCAU de Guangzhou.

Since its inception in 1982, he directs the Berlin International Short Film and Distribution Festival - Interfilm. In 1986 he directed the Berlin Documentary Film Festival. He was co-director of the short film festival ‘Pollicino’ in Catania, Sicily, from 1990 to 1996 and director and co-founder between 2001 and 2012 of the short film festival ‘Going Underground’ held on the Berlin and Seoul Metro trains. He is also co-founder and curator of the Zebra poetry film prize that since 2002 presents short films that interpret poems. In 2014 he founded and directed the first ‘ShortVision’s short film festival in Ningbo, China. He was vice president of the ‘Jinzhen Film Forum’ in Hancheng and guest lecturer of short film dramaturgy at Guangzhou SCAU University.

Durante más de 12 años, ha estado programando cortometrajes y películas para el Festival du Nouveau Cinema (FNC) en Montreal y desde 2018, es el programador de películas de ‘Quebec Cinema’ para el Festival Internacional de Cine de Vancouver. En 2012, cofundó la distribuidora independiente ‘La Distributrice de films’, y ahora hace parte del consejo de administración. A lo largo de su carrera se ha desempeñado en la dirección con los cortometrajes ‘Vacarme’ (2012), ‘L’ours’ (2013) y ‘Chérie - quand je pense à toi’ (2015).
For more than 12 years, he has been programming short films and films for the Festival du Nouveau Cinema (FNC) in Montreal and since 2018, he is the ‘Quebec Cinema’ movie programmer for the Vancouver International Film Festival. In 2012, he co-founded the independent distributor ‘La Distributrice de films’, and is now part of the board of directors. Gerente General, VP y Productora Ejecutiva de CMO Producciones y CMO Internacional. Estudió Comunicación Social y Periodismo en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Experta en Televisión Social Transmedia y Nuevas Narrativas Audiovisuales de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos III de Madrid, entre otros estudios. Presidenta de ASOCINDE (Asociación Colombiana de Productores de Cine Independiente), miembro fundadora y ex representante de los productores en la junta directiva de la Academia Colombiana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas y en la junta directiva de Proimágenes Colombia durante dos periodos. Actualmente hace parte de la junta directiva de Egeda Colombia. Ha sido jurado en convocatorias del FDC, Ibermedia y otros, ha sido conferencista y profesora invitada en diplomados de diversas universidades del país. Sus más recientes trabajos cinematográficos incluyen la producción de ‘En el Verde Mar’ de Klych López (En desarrollo), productora general y creativa de ‘¿Cómo te llamas?’ de Ruth Caudeli (2018).

She is currently part of the board of directors of Egeda Colombia. He has been jury of the FDC, Ibermedia and others funds, has been a lecturer and guest professor of various universities in the country. His most recent cinematographic works include the production of ‘En el Verde Mar’ by Klych López (In development), general and creative producer of ‘Eva + Candela’ By Ruth Caudeli (2018).
