El lamento a los cielos, en la que los mitos arcaicos de volar a través del tiempo y el espacio chocan con un mundo tecnológico. Una atmósfera dominada por aviones y drones con un ojo que todo lo ve observando la tierra, un privilegio que perteneció solo a los dioses y sus mensajeros, los pájaros. Las asociaciones se mueven libremente, ya que lo trascendental y lo mecánico se enfrentan entre sí. Un acróbata enmascarado nos guía a través de un torrente de imágenes hacia el pasado y el futuro, el cielo y la tierra.
An elegy to the skies, in which archaic myths of flying through time and space collide with a technological world. It shows an atmosphere dominated by airplanes and drones with an all-seeing eye observing the earth – a privilege that belonged only to gods and their messengers, the birds. In the film associations move freely, as the transcendental and mechanical confront each other. A masked acrobat guides us through a torrent of images into the past and future, heaven and earth.

Saara Ekström
Trabaja en cine, fotografía, escritura e instalación. Su trabajo se ha mostrado ampliamente en exposiciones internacionales grupales e individuales en museos y festivales en Europa, América y Asia. Recibió el premio finlandés de arte mediático AVEK en 2018 y los premios de SW Finlandia en 2017, la Sociedad de Arte Finlandesa en 1995 y el premio Aboa en 1994. Fue Artista del Festival de Helsinki en 2005 y nominada para el Premio de Arte Ars Fennica y Carnegie en 2010.
Works in film, photography, text and installation. Her work has been shown extensively in international group and solo exhibitions in museums and festivals in Europe, the Americas and Asia. She received the Finnish media art prize AVEK-award in 2018 and the prizes of SW Finland in 2017, Finnish Art Society in 1995 and the Aboa prize in 1994. She was the Helsinki Festival Artist in 2005 and nominated for Ars Fennica and Carnegie Art Award prizes in 2010.
