La búsqueda más allá del cuerpo

De acuerdo con el proyecto conjunto JEP-CEV-HRDAG, integrado por la Comisión de la Verdad, entre 1985 y 2016 hubo 121.768 víctimas de desaparición forzada en Colombia. Según algunos modelos estadísticos, se ha estimado que el número total de personas desaparecidas en el país en ese periodo de tiempo (contando los subregistros) podría ascender a 210.000. En su edición 21, BOGOSHORTS aborda la pregunta por los cuerpos, que en la historia de un país como Colombia tiene insondables ramificaciones: ¿dónde están esos más de 200 mil desaparecidos? ¿Acaso se puede vivir el duelo de un ser que- rido sin la certeza que pueden ofrecer sus restos? A propósito del Especial La búsqueda más allá del cuerpo y la presencia de distintas obras que abordan este asunto en las Competencias de esta edición, presentamos este diálogo con la Unidad de Búsqueda de Personas dadas por Desaparecidas-UBPD.
According to the joint JEP-CEV-HRDAG project, integrated by the Comisión de la Verdad, between 1985 and 2016 there were 121,768 victims of enforced disappearance in Colombia. According to some statistical models, it has been estimated that the total number of missing persons in the country in that time period (counting sub-registers) could amount to 210,000. In its 21st edition, BOGOSHORTS has put in the center all bodies, which in the history of a country like Colombia has unfathomable ramifications: where are these more than 200,000 missing persons? Is it possible to live the mourning of a loved one without the certainty that their remains can offer? With regard to the Special The Search Beyond the Body and different short films that address this subject in this edition’s Competitions, we present this dialogue with the Unit for the Search for Missing Persons (Unidad de Búsqueda de Personas dadas por Desaparecidas-UBPD).
