La Felicidad / Happiness

La felicidad aborda la nostalgia y el recuerdo hacia mi hermano fallecido. Desde entonces, solamente pienso en él e intento recrear alguna imagen que todavía pueda unirnos, que todavía pueda hacerme sentir, algún rasgo de felicidad, alguna imagen, que me devuelva su imagen y la mía, juntos, preciosos, eternos.

Happiness deals with the nostalgia and remembrance of my late brother. Since then, I can only think of him and try to recreate some image that might still connect us, that might still allow me to feel—some trace of happiness, some image that can bring back his image and mine, together, precious, eternal.

No es mi nombre / Not My Name

1996. A medida que Colombia desciende en un sangriento conflicto interno, una familia debe viajar por una carretera rural para visitar su abuelo enfermo. Intentando evitar un posible secuestro, viajan con identidades falsas, sumergiéndose en un mundo de violencia y miedo que los transformará irreversiblemente.

1996. As Colombia descends into a bloody insurgent war, a family must travel along a rural road to visit their ailing grandfather. To avoid a potential kidnapping they must change their identities, bringing their youngest son, Alvaro 8, into a world of violence, fear and anger that will irreversibly transform him.

Merecemos un imperio / We Deserve An Empire

La maquinaria arde. Una atribulada adolescente se ha unido en una discreta misión junto con un grupo de jóvenes, para explorar una mina recientemente abandonada en busca de restos de una veta de oro que pudiera cambiar sus vidas. El ensueño erosiona su sentido de la realidad, abriendo la puerta a un universo fantasmagórico guiado por el brillo de las piedras preciosas. Soñando un futuro diferente para ella y su esquiva amante, lejos de las llamas.

The machinery burns. A tormented teenage girl, along with a crew of young men, have teamed up on a discreet mission to dig through the remains of a recently abandoned mine, searching for scraps of a gold lode that could change their lives. The reverie erodes her sense of reality, opening the door to a phantasmagoric universe guided by the glow of precious stones. Dreaming of a different future with her elusive lover, far away from the flames.

Todos los días / Full-Time

Ramiro es despedido del trabajo al que perteneció gran parte de su vida. En medio de su nueva y solitaria libertad conoce a tres desocupados como él que se reúnen para matar el tiempo y hacerse compañía mientras fantasean con vengarse de sus antiguos empleadores y buscan, un pequeño triunfo a la vez, ser felices. Cada día, todos los días.

Ramiro is fired from his job after 19 years. As he goes through his solitary days, he meets three unemployed men like him who get together to hang around and keep each other company, while they fantasize about taking revenge on their former employers, hoping to find their happiness one small triumph at a time.

Discómanos / Discomaniacs

Johana (Marcela Benjumea), taxista, madre ausente y llena de deudas, sale a recoger pasajeros. Un delincuente se sube a su taxi y abandona un Long-Play valorado en millones que le acaban de robar a Franklin, un discómano salvaje que mata por su amado LP. Viendo la oportunidad de aliviar deudas y acercarse a su familia, Johana busca compradores sin sospechar que hay varias personas detrás de lo mismo.

Johana (Marcela Benjumea), a taxi driver, an absent mother and in debt, goes out to pick up passengers. A criminal gets into her taxi and abandons a LP worth millions that has just been stolen from Franklin, a wild record addict who kills for his beloved LP. Johana, seeing the opportunity to relieve her debts and get closer to her family, looks for buyers without suspecting that there are several people behind the same thing.

Mi demonio / My Demon

Eva y Jacobo van camino al hospital a tener su primer bebé, el parto es inminente. La pareja tiene una fuerte disputa porque Jacobo lleva días ausente. Eva le reprocha su desaparición en medio de contracciones cada vez más seguidas. Jacobo conduce a toda velocidad en medio de la ira y ansiedad.

Eva and Jacobo are on their way to the hospital to have their first baby, the birth is imminent. The couple is in a strong dispute because Jacobo has been absent for days. Eva reproaches him for his disappearance amidst increasingly frequent contractions. Jacobo drives at full speed with anger and anxiety.
