Her journey with the film became the catalyst for her book: “I Made A Short Film Now WTF Do I Do With It (a guide to film festivals, promotion, and surviving the ride). Nieto (Colombia-Francia / Colombia-France)
Nacido en Colombia, radicado en París y expulsado de la École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Paris en 2009. Nieto es un artista de medios mixtos, ahora es representado por la Da-End Gallery en Francia, trabaja como pintor, músico, realizador audiovisual/artista de performance y, más recientemente, como director visual de escenario para óperas.
Su visión artística se ha adaptado de forma juguetona al mundo de la publicidad; actualmente es representado como un importante director en Europa, Asia, Rusia y Estados Unidos. Ha dirigido varios comerciales de televisión para conocidas marcas desde 2005.
Colombian born, Paris based and expelled from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Paris in 2009. Nieto is a mixed-media artist, today he is represented by Da-End Gallery in France, he works as a painter, musician, filmmaker/performer and most recently as stage visual director of Operas.
His artistic view has also playfully adapted into the advertisement world; he is currently represented as a director in Europe, Asia, Russia and USA. He has directed several TV commercials for known brands since 2005.
Pedro Toro (España/Spain)
Madrid, 1984. Director artístico y gestor cultural especializado en cine, cómic y edición independiente. Licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual y Máster en Gestión Cultural Internacional e Innovación Social por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Durante años, compagina trabajos corporativos como productor audiovisual y de eventos con diversos proyectos artísticos y culturales. En 2014 co-funda el exitoso festival de edición independiente ¡Hostia Un Libro!, lo que les lleva a trabajar con instituciones como el Ministerio de Cultura del Gobierno de España, el Museo Reina Sofía y la red de arte y escuela - PLANEA.
Ha escrito y dirigido proyectos para prensa online, cine, teatro, publicidad y audio, colaborando habitualmente con la Cadena SER y el sello El Extraordinario. Desde 2005 colabora como programador y comisario de exposiciones, entre otras labores, con el Festival de Cine de Alcalá de Henares/Comunidad de Madrid, ALCINE. Desde la edición 51°, este mismo 2022, asume el cargo de Director Artístico, ocupándose de pensar y liderar la nueva etapa de uno de los festivales de cine más veteranos de España.
Madrid, 1984. Artistic director and cultural manager specialized in cinema, comics and independent publishing. He graduated from Audiovisual Communication and is a Master in International Cultural Management and Social Innovation from the Complutense University of Madrid. For years he has been managing work as a producer and events manager, also working in other artistic and cultural projects. In 2014, he co-founded the successful festival for Independent publishing ¡Hostia Un Libro!, which allowed him to start working with institutions such as the Ministry of Culture from the Spanish Government, the Queen Sofía National Museum Art Centre and the Art and school network - PLANEA.
He has written and directed projects for online press, cinema, theater, advertising and audio, working mostly with Cadena SER and the label El Extraordinario. Since 2005 he works as a programmer and exhibitions deputy , among other labors, for the Alcalá de Henares/Comunidad de Madrid Film Festival, ALCINE. Since the 51st edition, on the year 2022, he took the position as Artistic Director, developing and leading the new phase of one of the oldest film festivals in Spain.
