Los Postres de KORINCO es un cortometraje animado experimental hecho en stop-motion, producto del trabajo colectivo entre niños de Bogotá, Bali y Seúl, quienes hicieron parte de los talleres de animación hechos por los festivales BOGOSHORTS, Minikino y SESIFF en sus respectivas ciudades.
El cortometraje cuenta la historia de una isla muy muy lejana, la cual es reconocida especialmente por dos cosas. La primera es que sus únicos habitantes son animales. La segunda es que es hogar de los mejores postres del mundo. Sus tres chefs más talentosos son el oso de anteojos de Colombia, el dragón de komodo de Indonesia y el tigre de Corea, los cuales deberán enfrentarse al gran reto del Presidente Mono: crear los más deliciosos manjares nunca antes probados para recibir a un grupo de reconocidos cantantes humanos y lograr al fin la paz entre ambos gobiernos.
KORINCO’S Desserts is an experimental animated short film made in stop-motion. It is the result of the collaborative work between children from Bogota, Bali and Seul, who took part in the animation workshops taught by the short film festivals BOGOSHORTS, Minikino, and SESIFF in their respective cities.
The short film tells the story of an island far, far away, which is known especially for two things. The first one is that its only inhabitants are animals. The second one is that it has the best desserts in the whole world. The most talented chefs in KORINCO are the spectacled bear from Colombia, the komodo dragon from Indonesia, and the tiger from Korea, who will have to face President Monkey’s big challenge: to create the most delicious delights that have ever been tasted, in order to welcome a group of distinguished human singers and, finally, to accomplish peace between the two governments.
