Es el último día del año y la noche cae sobre la pequeña ciudad de Toyama, Japón. Un hombre acude a los baños públicos para recuperar un objeto olvidado. Pero una vez dentro, la promesa de un baño caliente le obliga a quedarse.
It is the last day of the year and night falls on the small town of Toyama, Japan. A man goes to the public bath to retrieve a forgotten object. But once inside, the promise of a hot bath compels him to stay.
Atsushi Hirai
Estudió cine en Tokio y luego en París, donde se instaló en 2015 y trabajó como asistente de dirección, particularmente en las películas de Damien Manivel. Su primera película 'Retour à Toyama' fue seleccionada para la competencia Pardi di Domani en el Festival de Cine de Locarno.
He studied filmmaking in Tokyo and then in Paris where he settled in 2015 and worked as an assistant director, in particular on Damien Manivel’s films. His first film 'Retour à Toyama' was selected for the Pardi di Domani competition at the Locarno Film Festival.
