When the world turns upside down we have a choice to firmly hang on to old ideas in fear or embrace the new view. Chasing Birds is a symbolic story about a little girl who playfully chases a bird throughout a chaotic and transformational period.

Directora y diseñadora de cine islandesa. En los últimos años ha trabajado y dirigido documentales galardonados, haciendo desarrollo conceptual, diseño y animación. Su último cortometraje Chasing Birds ganó el premio al mejor cortometraje islandés en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Reykjavik en 2022. En 2021 fue nominada por Cinema Eye Honors por la animación sobresaliente para el documental Rebel Hearts, que también viajó a festivales como Sundance y HotDocs.
Icelandic film director and designer. In recent years she has worked on and directed award winning documentaries, doing concept development, design and animation. Her latest short film Chasing Birds won the Best Icelandic Short at Reykjavik International Filmfestival in 2022. In 2021 she was nominated by Cinema Eye Honors for outstanding animation for the documentary Rebel Hearts, which also traveled to festivals such as Sundance and HotDocs.
