Gerardo espera en la montaña solitaria el regreso de su hijo desaparecido. Cuando encuentra en medio de la nada el cadáver de un joven, lo lleva a su casa y lo adopta como suyo, para reconciliarse a través de este, con su propio hijo y para darle un nombre y la sepultura que merece
Gerardo waits on the lonely mountain for the return of his missing son. When he finds the corpse of a young man in the middle of nowhere, he takes it to his house and adopts it as his own, to reconcile through it with his own son and to give him a name and the burial he deserves.

Cineasta Afroamazónico. Sus películas reflexionan sobre la violencia en Colombia y la relación con la muerte desde una perspectiva realista espiritual. Su cortometraje EL OLVIDO (FDC 2020) fue estrenado en el Filmschoolfest Munich y en el Moscow international film fest. Actualmente desarrolla su cortometraje CUANDO RETORNEN LAS GARZAS (FDC 2022) y está finalizando la escritura de su primer largometraje CARROLOCO (FDC 2022). Además, fue seleccionado en Berlinale Talens Buenos Aires 2023
Afro-Amazonian filmmaker. His films reflect on the theme of violence and the relationship with death from a spiritual realist perspective, his short film FORGOTTEN (FDC 2020) was premiered at the Filmschoolfest Munich and the Moscow international film fest. He is currently developing his short film ONCE THE HERONS RETURN (FDC 2022) and finishing the script of his first feature film CARROLOCO (FDC 2022). In addition, he is a Berlinale Talens Buenos Aires Alumni 2023
