Desde una mansión alquilada en los suburbios de Texas, un grupo de jóvenes vende en internet una versión hiperbólica y alfa de sà mismos. Alpha Kings explora la dicotomÃa entre estos amos alfa machos en lÃnea y su verdadero yo privado, a partir de temas como el deseo, la masculinidad, la sexualidad, el poder y el performance.
From a rented mansion in suburban Texas, a group of young men sell a hyperbolic, alpha-male version of themselves on the internet. Alpha Kings explores the dichotomy between these “Masters†alpha-male online personas and their true private selves, drawing on themes of desire, masculinity, sexuality, power, and performance.

Enrique Pedraza-Botero
Enrique es un artista visual, cineasta y ejecutivo de medios de Bogotá (Colombia). Recientemente fue designado para codirigir la Iniciativa de Cine Documental en el Centro Shorenstein de la Escuela Kennedy de Harvard. Su última película, Alpha Kings, se estrenó en el Festival de Rotterdam en 2023 y fue adquirida para su distribución por The New Yorker. Recientemente, se estrenó en línea como parte de Vimeo Staff Pick. Actualmente, Enrique se encuentra trabajando en su primer proyecto de largometraje.
Enrique is a visual artist, filmmaker and media executive from Bogotá (Colombia). He was recently appointed to co-lead the Documentary Film Initiative at the Shorenstein Center at Harvard’s Kennedy School. His latest film, Alpha Kings, premiered at Rotterdam IFF 2023, and was acquired for distribution by The New Yorker. It was also recently selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick. Enrique is currently working on his first feature-length project.

Faye is a Greek-American filmmaker from New York City. She served as VP Development & Production for Passage Pictures and was Director of Acquisitions & Production for independent Film & Television distribution company FilmRise.
