Sayu, una adolescente cubano-japonesa, descubre que su madre tiene comprados los pasajes aéreos para volver a Japón. En su desesperación por evitar irse y separarse de su mejor amiga, decide escapar de su casa e ir en busca de su padre, que vive a las afueras de la ciudad.
Sayu, a Cuban-Japanese teenager, learns that her mother has bought the plane tickets to return to Japan. Desperate to avoid leaving and being separated from her best friend, she decides to run away from home and go in search of her father, who lives on the outskirts of the city.
