El cortometraje narra la historia de dos jornaleros indocumentados guatemaltecos, quienes emigraron de Centro América en busca de un futuro mejor para sus familias, pero un contratista de Miami les robara sus salarios. Ellos buscan ayuda de una organización local y atraviesan las complejidades de los procesos legales para recuperar su dignidad. En el proceso, se convierten en activistas, ayudando a otros como ellos a luchar por sus derechos, a pesar de su estatus migratorio.
The short tells the story of two Guatemalan undocumented day laborers, who migrated from Central America in search of a better future for their families. However, their wages are extorted by a Miami roofer. They seek help from a local organization and navigate the complexities of court proceedings to regain their dignity. In the process, they became activists and organizers, helping others like them to fight for their rights, despite their immigrant status.
