El Barrio Obrero de Cali, en el año de 1965. Dos adolescentes, Alberto y Rosa, protagonizan una contradictoria historia de amor caracterizada por encuentros furtivos para burlar la severa vigilancia del padre de la novia. Sus momentos vitales están enmarcados por la música tropical de la época, el ritmo estrepitoso de sus pandillas y... su poético final trágico. Cuando la intolerancia se vuelve irresistible, ellos no tendrán otro camino que unirse para siempre.
In a working-class district of Cali in 1965, two adolescents, Alberto and Rosa, encounter strong opposition to their love and have to meet furtively by eluding the strict watch kept by Rosas father. Their vital moments are framed by the the tropical music of the time, the frenetic pace of their gangs and... their poetically tragic end. When intolerance becomes unendurable, they have no other course than to be united forever.
