A tale about solitude portrayed from the intimacy of three siblings who are about to receive one of the harshest news of their lives. In the midst of it all, the forest accompanies them, but also haunts them.

Kim Torres
Kim Torres es una guionista y directora costarricense nacida en 1993. Su cortometraje LUZ NOCTURNA (2022) se estrenó en la Selección Oficial de Cortometrajes del Festival de Cannes 75, convirtiéndose en el primer filme costarricense en competir por la Palma de Oro. Su corto ATRAPALUZ (2021) se estrenó en la competencia internacional del Festival de Locarno 74. Actualmente desarrolla su ópera prima SI NO ARDEMOS CÓMO ILUMINAR LA NOCHE.
Kim Torres is a Costa Rican screenwriter and director born in 1993. Her short film NIGHT LIGHT (2022) premiered in the Official Short Film Selection of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first Costa Rican film to compete for the Palme d'Or. Her short film SUNCATCHER (2021) premiered in the international competition at the Locarno Film Festival 74. At the moment she is developing her feature film IF WE DON'T BURN HOW DO WE LIGHT UP THE NIGHT.
