En el siglo XV, en Portugal, un grupo de monjes construyó un muro alrededor de un bosque e impidió la entrada a las mujeres. Pero las manos de los vivos no pueden controlarlo todo: en el mundo invisible, donde reina la noche y sólo las almas iluminan el bosque, las mujeres han construido su reino de invisibilidad, sin muros.
In the 15th century, in Portugal, a group of monks built a wall around a forest and prevented the entry of women. But the hands of the living cannot control everything: in the invisible world, where night reigns and only souls light up the forest, women have built their kingdom of invisibility, without walls.

(Lisboa, 1986) Cineasta portuguesa cuyo cortometraje de debut Metáfora o tristeza del revés se estrenó en 2014 en Cinema du Réel, donde fue distinguido como Mejor Cortometraje. Su ópera prima La metamorfosis de los pájaros se estrenó en 2020 en la Berlinale, donde recibió el Premio FIPRESCI, el primero de los cincuenta premios que recibió.
(Lisbon, 1986) She is a Portuguese filmmaker whose debut short-film Metaphor or Sadness Inside Out premiered in 2014 at Cinema du Réel, where it was awarded with Best Short Film. Her debut feature The Metamorphosis of Birds premiered in 2020 at Berlinale, where it received the first of fifty prizes, the FIPRESCI Award.
