Creado como un teatro infantil para la representación de teatro de muñecos, títeres y marionetas, el Teatro El Parque en su larga vida ha visto nacer y crecer importantes grupos artísticos que hoy hacen parte de la escena teatral y de títeres, no solo en Bogotá si no en todo el país. Con sus 82 años, es un escenario emblemático de Bogotá en el que muchos niños y familias tienen la posibilidad de soñar, sonreír, jugar, cantar y divertirse.
El teatro fue por varios años el punto de partida de IMAGINATÓN, dónde se realizó por muchos años el claqueteo, la revelación de la clave y el inicio de la maratón, tras 3 años de remodelación arquitectónica en este 2024 el teatro vuelve a los escenarios de BOGOSHORTS con la partida de IMAGINATÓN y la selección de cortometrajes infantiles ChiquiSHORTS.
Created as a children‘s theater for the representation of puppet theater, puppets and marionettes, Teatro El Parque in its long life has seen the birth and growth of important artistic groups that today are part of the theater and puppet scene, not only in Bogota but throughout the country. With its 82 years, it is an emblematic stage in Bogota where many children and families have the opportunity to dream, smile, play, sing and have fun.
The theater was for several years the starting point of IMAGINATÓN, where for many years the clapping, the revelation of the key and the beginning of the marathon took place, after 3 years of architectural remodeling in this 2024 the theater returns to the stages of BOGOSHORTS with the departure of IMAGINATÓN and the selection of children‘s short films ChiquiSHORTS.
