Macarena Herrera Bravo (Argentina / Argentina)
Codirectora de The Short Film Lab, programa de capacitación para la distribución de cortometrajes independientes de habla hispana. Produjo el cortometraje MONSTRUO DIOS dirigido por Agustina San Martín, ganador de la mención especial del jurado en la Competencia Oficial del 72 Festival de Cannes. Es productora asociada del documental creativo LOS PAISAJES dirigido por Hernán Fernández, que tuvo su estreno en la Competencia Internacional de DOKLeipzig 2022. Desde Imprudencia desarrolla MANHOOD de Agustina San Martín. Maca es también directora de producción en Happy Together Studio desde Buenos Aires. Es diseñadora de imagen y sonido (UBA), con una amplia experiencia en gestión cultural, producción ejecutiva y en comunicación de festivales internacionales de cine.
Co-director of The Short Film Lab, a training program for the distribution of Spanish-language independent short films. She produced the short film MONSTRUO DIOS, directed by Agustina San Martín, which won the Special Jury Mention at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. She is an associate producer of the creative documentary LOS PAISAJES, directed by Hernán Fernández, premiered at the International Competition of DOKLeipzig 2022. At Imprudencia, she is involved in the development of MANHOOD, by Agustina San Martín. Maca also serves as the director of production at Happy Together Studio in Buenos Aires. She holds a degree in Image and Sound Design (UBA) and has extensive experience in cultural management, executive production, and communication for international film festivals.
María Cristina Pérez (Colombia / Colombia)
María Cristina es una directora colombiana de cine de animación. Su cortometraje de graduación AÑEJO fue seleccionado en numerosos festivales alrededor del mundo. En 2018 dirigió el cortometraje COFFEE BREAK, seleccionado en festivales como Warsaw Film Festival, Guadalajara y ganador en BOGOSHORTS. Su tercer cortometraje, TODO ES CULPA DE LA SAL, tuvo su estreno mundial en Annecy y fue seleccionado en Clermont Ferrand, PÖFF Shorts, Dok Leipzig, Palm Springs, Uppsala, Zinebi, entre otros. Actualmente, trabaja en varios proyectos de animación, entre ellos, su primer largometraje de animación MI PAPÁ EL CAMIÓN, el cual recibió el apoyo del Hubert Bals Fund y del FDC para escritura y desarrollo.
María Cristina is a Colombian director of animated films. Her graduation short film, AÑEJO, was selected in numerous festivals around the world. Realizador, productor de cine y televisión, y director de Colegios al Cine, un proyecto orientado a la formación de audiencias desde instituciones pedagógicas. Su incursión inicial en el ámbito audiovisual ocurrió participando como actor en COMO TODO EL MUNDO de Franco Lolli, donde fue distinguido como Mejor Actor en BOGOSHORTS. Ha desempeñado diversos roles, incluyendo asistente de dirección en MEMORIA de Apichatpong Weerasethakul, HORIZONTE de César Acevedo, DIÓGENES de Leonardo Barbuy, LITIGANTE de Franco Lolli, donde dirigió el casting. Colaboró como asistente de dirección y director de casting en los cortometrajes WELCOME HOME de Fernando Iriarte, LA CASA DEL ÁRBOL de Juan Sebastián Quebrada y MADRE de Simón Mesa. También colaboró en GENTE DE BIEN de Franco Lolli, SOL NEGRO de Laura Huertas Millán, PÁJAROS DE VERANO de Cristina Gallego y Ciro Guerra, SNAKE OIL SONG de Micah Van Hove, SOMOS CALENTURA de Jorge Navas, entre otros.

He made his initial foray into the audiovisual field as an actor in Franco Lolli’s COMO TODO EL MUNDO, earning recognition as Best Actor at BOGOSHORTS. His diverse roles include assistant director in works like Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s MEMORIA, César Acevedo’s HORIZONTE, Leonardo Barbuy’s DIÓGENES, and Franco Lolli’s LITIGANTE, where he also directed the casting. He collaborated as assistant director and casting director in short films such as Fernando Iriarte’s WELCOME HOME, Juan Sebastián Quebrada’s LA CASA DEL ÁRBOL, and Simón Mesa’s MADRE.
