Engendro mexicano de los setenta obsesionado con el poder y la paradójica belleza de las historias de terror capturadas en celuloide y pixeles. Licenciado en Bellas Artes por el School of Visual Arts en NY. Después de una larga historia en distintos tentáculos de la industria fílmica y años de experiencia en la docencia universitaria ahora dedica su vida al estudio, promoción, y presentación de cine fantástico y de terror. Fue director de programación de Mórbido Fest de 2010 al 2021. En Octubre del 2022 presentó la curaduría, “México Maleficarum: Resurrecting 20th Century Mexican Horror Cinema en el Academy Museum en Los Angeles, California. Recientemente acaba de presentar en la Cinémathèque Française en Paris, Francia: Mexico Maleficarum: 13 trésors du cinéma fantastique mexicain.

Camila Jurado (Colombia / Colombia)
Inició su carrera en la televisión a los quince años y se formó durante tres años en Actuación para Cámara en la New York Film Academy. Ha participado en proyectos como LOS BILLIS serie original de Prime Video, DISTRITO SALVAJE serie original de Netflix producida por DYNAMO, EL SEÑOR DE LOS CIELOS 8 grabada en la Ciudad de México y PA QUERERTE). También, protagonizó y produjo la película CAFÉ CON ANA, la primera película producida por New Zealand Son Films en América Latina. Además, participó en el programa BICENTENARIO: ANÉCDOTAS DE VOZ A VOS junto a Kepa Amuchastegi y formó parte de la telenovela TE LA DEDICO de RCN. Camila ha estado involucrada en proyectos en países como Colombia, México, Ecuador y Estados Unidos, además de hacer parte de plataformas como NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME y HBO.
She began her career in television at the age of fifteen and underwent three years of Camera Acting training at the New York Film Academy. She has been involved in projects such as Prime Video’s LOS BILLIS, Netflix’s DISTRITO SALVAJE produced by DYNAMO, EL SEÑOR DE LOS CIELOS 8 shot in Mexico City, and PA QUERERTE. She also starred in and produced the film CAFÉ CON ANA, the first film produced by New Zealand Son Films in Latin America. Additionally, she starred in the program BICENTENARIO: ANÉCDOTAS DE VOZ A VOS alongside Kepa Amuchastegi and participated in RCN’s soap opera TE LA DEDICO. Camila has been involved in projects in countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, and the United States, and has been part of platforms like NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME, and HBO.
Eduardo ‘La Rata’ Carvajal (Colombia / Colombia)
Eduardo ‘La Rata’ Carvajal, fotógrafo caleño, ha dejado una impronta duradera en el cine colombiano a lo largo de casi cinco décadas, desde 1971. Su dedicación a la foto fija ha sido clave en películas icónicas como AGARRANDO PUEBLO (1978), LA MANSIÓN DE ARAUCAIMA (1986), LA VENDEDORA DE ROSAS (1998), LA VIRGEN DE LOS SICARIOS (2000), SUMAS Y RESTAS (2004), LA SANGRE Y LA LLUVIA (2009), LAVAPERROS (2020), entre otras. Con un archivo que supera los 37.000 negativos, ha documentado la evolución del cine colombiano de lo análogo a lo digital. Como influyente miembro del Grupo de Cali, Eduardo ha dejado su marca en el legado cinematográfico nacional, fusionando experiencia, técnica y pasión a través de su lente.

His dedication to still photography has been crucial in iconic films such as AGARRANDO PUEBLO (1978), LA MANSIÓN DE ARAUCAIMA (1986), LA VENDEDORA DE ROSAS (1998), LA VIRGEN DE LOS SICARIOS (2000), SUMAS Y RESTAS (2004), LA SANGRE Y LA LLUVIA (2009), LAVAPERROS (2020), among others. With an archive exceeding 37,000 negatives, he has documented the evolution of Colombian cinema from analog to digital.
