El A-Bomb Dome es el nombre de un antiguo centro de negocios japonés que se convirtió en el símbolo de la destrucción de la ciudad de Hiroshima por la bomba atómica estadounidense en 1945. The A-Bomb Dome is the name of a former Japanese business center that became the symbol of the destruction of the city of Hiroshima by the American atomic bomb in 1945. Built in 1915, it is the only building that remained standing in the immediate surroundings of the explosion site. The A-Bomb Dome was never restored; it remained as it was on the day of the bombing and quickly became a memorial to the hundreds of thousands of people who died on August 6, 1945.
