Over the course of a conversation with an understanding friend, he analyses, deconstructs, and interprets the meaning of his choice to publicly support the cultural boycott of Israel.

En 2016, Fleifel ganó un Oso de Plata en la Berlinale por 'A Man Returns'. Su película 'A Drowning Man' estuvo en competencia en Cannes, y 'I Signed The Petition' fue nominada a los Premios del Cine Europeo 2018.
Born in Dubai, he lives and works between Denmark, England and Greece. His debut feature 'A World Not Ours' premiered at TIFF in 2012. In 2016, Fleifel won a Silver Bear at the Berlinale for 'A Man Returned'. His film 'A Drowning Man' was in competition at Cannes, and 'I Signed The Petition' was nominated for the 2018 European Film Awards.
