(Bergara, 1969) destacó por su trabajo en el campo del cortometraje. Su debut en el largometraje se produjo con Aupa Etxebeste! (2005), una comedia co-dirigida junto a Telmo Esnal, que participó en el Festival de San Sebastián y recibió una nominación al Goya a la Mejor Dirección Novel. A lo largo de su carrera, ha dirigido ocho cortometrajes y seis largometrajes. Su película Bertsolari (2011) y Amama (2016) fueron seleccionadas para la sección oficial del Festival de San Sebastián, siendo especialmente destacada Amama, que ganó el premio Irizar al cine vasco y más de 20 premios en festivales internacionales.
(Bergara, 1969) stood out for his work in the field of short films. His feature film debut came with Aupa Etxebeste! (2005), a comedy co-directed with Telmo Esnal, which participated in the San Sebastian Film Festival and received a Goya nomination for Best New Director. Throughout his career, he has directed eight short films and six feature films. His films Bertsolari (2011) and Amama (2016) were selected for the official section of the San Sebastian Film Festival, with Amama receiving special recognition, winning the Irizar Award for Basque cinema and more than 20 awards at international festivals.
