Cada año, 40 000 alumnos de octavo grado visitan el Centro Conmemorativo de Vukovar, dedicado a la Guerra de Independencia de Croacia. Each year, 40,000 eighth-graders visit the Vukovar Memorial Centre dedicated to the Croatian War of Independence. The goal is to broaden their knowledge about the war and the prolonged siege of Vukovar in 1991, a town that suffered the most during the Serbian occupation. Twenty-nine years after the end of the war and the dissolution of Yugoslavia, a class of students from Istria visits Vukovar.

Jozo Schmuch
Director de documentales y cortometrajes de ficción, nacido en Dubrovnik en 1993. Entre sus trabajos documentales se encuentran A New Mustang is Born Every Day (2018) y Hotel Mama (2021), este último proyectado en la competición regional del ZagrebDox. También ha dirigido los cortometrajes de ficción Women of My Age (2019) y Severina's Dog (2024), que se presentó en el programa Checkers del Festival de Cine de Zagreb.
Director of documentary and short fiction films, born in Dubrovnik, 1993. His documentary works include A New Mustang is Born Every Day (2018) and Hotel Mama (2021), the latter of which was screened in the regional competition at ZagrebDox. He has also directed the short fiction films Women of My Age (2019) and Severina's Dog (2024), which was featured in the Checkers program of the Zagreb Film Festival.
