Documental que a través de metáforas visuales narra desde un punto de vista joven la historia de cuatro personajes, entre los 18 y 29 años, que intentaron suicidarse. El relato artístico pretende visibilizar este tema mostrándolo como algo que ha pasado, pasa y probablemente no deja de pasar; una problemática que no se debe evitar por miedo a la imitación. Con esto, el documental intenta que el espectador se cuestione sobre qué contribuye o no a este tema.
Suicide has been seen throughout modern history as a taboo and society's fear of imitation is becoming more and more noticeable. In this profound documentary story, four young survivors between the ages of 18 and 29 narrate their experiences, feelings and emotions through visual resources that allow the spectator to interpret the stories. 'Fireflies' tells in depth the youth point of view and finally makes the viewers question themselves about what they do or do not contribute to this problem.
