A través de sus historias, el cortometraje desvela la poesía oculta en la experiencia de la invisibilidad, una reflexión íntima sobre la percepción, la existencia y la dignidad. Estrenado en 2023 en los cines independientes de Colombia.
The Testimony of the Invisible, directed by Camilo Fidel López and produced by Los Amateurs Media, gathers the voices of ten homeless individuals in a shelter in Bogotá. Through their stories, the short film unveils the hidden poetry within the experience of invisibility—an intimate reflection on perception, existence, and dignity. Premiered in 2023 in Colombia’s independent cinemas.
Camilo Fidel Lopez
Director y productor colombiano, fundador de Los Amateurs Media, colectivo dedicado al cine documental. Ha dirigido cortometrajes como El testimonio de lo invisible, El poeta del barrio, Donde vive el Niño Dios, Alegría de trapo, La reina de la fiesta y Goya, la niña del mercado. Su obra busca la poesía en lo cotidiano y da voz a comunidades invisibilizadas.
Colombian director and producer, founder of Los Amateurs Media, a collective dedicated to documentary filmmaking. He has directed short films such as The Testimony of the Invisible, The Poet of the Neighborhood, Where the Child God Lives, Rag Joy, The Queen of the Feast, and Goya, the Girl from the Market. His work seeks poetry in everyday life and gives voice to marginalized communities.
