Short documentary that follows Leticia Gallardo, the visionary director of Viento Florido, an all-women Indigenous band hailing from the mountainous region of Tlahuitoltepec. The film captures the profound connection between the women, their music, and the landscapes that inspire them.

Directora, guionista y productora de la Ciudad de México. Su primera película, La camarista, se estrenó en el TIFF 2018. Avilés ganó el premio Ariel a la Mejor Ópera Prima y también fue nominada a la Mejor Dirección. La película también ganó el premio a la Mejor Película en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia 2019. Su largometraje más reciente, Tótem, fue seleccionado para la Competencia Oficial de la Berlinale en 2023 y para el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Tótem fue la candidata mexicana para la edición 96 de los Premios Óscar.
Director, writter and producer from Mexico City. Her first film, La camarista, premiered at TIFF 2018. Avilés won the Ariel prize for Best First Feature Film and also was a nominee for Best Direction. The film also won Best Film at Morelia IFF 2019. Her most recent feature fillm Tótem was selected of Berlinales's Official Competition in 2023 and Morelia IFF. Tótem was the Mexican candidate for the 96° Academy Awards.
