Los trenes a toda velocidad rompen el silencio de una pequeña estación. El silbido de la locomotora y el estruendo de las ruedas se desvanecen en la noche, pero no logran despertar a la gente que allí se encuentra. La gente sigue durmiendo. ¿Qué esperan? ¿Qué los despertará?
Speeding trains slice through the silence of the small train stop. The whistle on the locomotive and the thunder of the wheels disappear into the night, but fail to wake up people at the station. People just continue to sleep. What do they wait for? What will wake them up?

Director, guionista y productor ucraniano nacido en 1964, con formación inicial en Matemáticas Aplicadas y experiencia en investigación sobre inteligencia artificial. En 1997 se graduó en dirección cinematográfica del Instituto Estatal de Cine Ruso (VGIK) y desde 1996 ha dirigido 17 documentales. Su película Blockade (2005) destaca por el uso de archivos del Sitio de Leningrado. Su ópera prima My Joy (2010) y In the Fog (2012) fueron estrenadas en la Competencia Oficial del Festival de Cannes, esta última ganadora del Premio FIPRESCI. En 2013 fundó la productora ATOMS & VOID y continúa trabajando en documental y ficción.
Ukrainian director, screenwriter, and producer born in 1964, with initial training in Applied Mathematics and experience in artificial intelligence research. In 1997, he graduated in film directing from the Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and since 1996 has directed 17 documentaries. His film Blockade (2005) stands out for its use of archives from the Siege of Leningrad. His debut feature My Joy (2010) and In the Fog (2012) were premiered in the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival, with the latter winning the FIPRESCI Prize. In 2013, he founded the production company ATOMS & VOID and continues to work in documentary and fiction.
