En los Montes de María, habita el Emechiche (Saguinus oedipus). Una especie en peligro de extinción, observamos las complejas relaciones con sus crías y su entorno. Analizaremos su supervivencia, dejándonos ser testigos de sus sentimientos e instintos salvajes.
The Colombian Montes de María are home to the emechiche (Saguinus oedipus). An endangered species, we will observe their complex relationship with their young and their environment. We will analyse their survival, allowing us to witness their feelings and wild instincts.

Juan Camilo González
Cineasta multidisciplinar y productor de cine independiente, inició su carrera con La Montaña del Silencio (2014), despues realiza Zapatos y la mágica aventura de su creación (2019) y Dientes Peludos (2024). Actualmente presenta Emechiche, el renacer de los cabeciblancos (2025). Ha sido productor de los cortos La Ballena Escarlata (2017), Lea Salvaje (2019) y Los Hermanos Calavera (2020), y de los largometrajes Semillas, La Piel Mordida y Floppy the robot.
Is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and independent film producer. He began his career with The mountain of Silence (2014), followed by Little Shoes (2019) and Hairy Teeth (2024). He is currently presenting The Rebirth of White-Headed (2025). He has produced the short films Scarlet Whale (2017), Wild Lea (2019), and The Calavera Brothers (2020), as well as the feature films Seeds, The bitten Skin, and Floppy the robot.
