Con la ayuda de sus amigos, Picho coordina por WhatsApp hacerse una foto de perfil que lo represente. Mientras, en el chat familiar se vive una crisis: la exigencia de estar presentes durante la vertiginosa pérdida de autonomía de su abuelo, el patriarca de la familia. Entre llamadas perdidas, bombardeo de imágenes, emojis y stickers, accedemos a la intimidad digital de un joven conflictuado con las expectativas ajenas y las suyas propias.
With the help of his friends, Picho coordinates through WhatsApp to get a profile picture that represents him. Meanwhile, there’s a crisis on the family WhatsApp chat: the demand to be present during the dizzying loss of autonomy of his grandfather, the patriarch of the family. Between missed calls, bombardment of images, emojis and stickers, we access the digital intimacy of a young man conflicted with the expectations of others and his own.

Dúo creativo de Valparaíso, Chile, enfocado en películas personales. En 2024 co-dirigieron Familia, corto híbrido que estrenó en True/False (USA) y se mostró en Camden IFF, DC/DOX, Family Film Project (PT) y Sapporo Festival (JP). Ganó Mejor Película en SANFIC y múltiples premios en Chile. En 2021 estrenaron Zoila, doc dirigido por Gabriela y producido por Picho, premiado como Mejor Film en “Género y Generaciones” del FIDBA (ARG).
Creative duo from Valparaíso, Chile, focused on personal films. In 2024 they co-directed Familia, a hybrid short that premiered at True/False (USA) and screened at Camden IFF, DC/DOX, Family Film Project (PT) and Sapporo Festival (JP). It won Best Film at SANFIC and received multiple awards in Chile. In 2021 they released Zoila, a feature doc directed by Gabriela and produced by Picho, awarded Best Film in Genre and Generations at FIDBA (ARG).
