Inspirada en fragmentos de poemas de Safo (Isla de Lesbos, 600 a.C.), la primera autora femenina conocida en el mundo occidental. La narración alude a las expresiones poéticas de Safo y a las múltiples lecturas de su figura a lo largo de la historia.
Inspired by fragments of poems by Sappho (Island of Lesbos, 600 BC), the first female author known to the Western World. The narrative alludes to Sappho’s poetic expressions and the multiple readings of her figure throughout history.

Rosana Urbes es directora de animación, animadora, ilustradora y storyboarder.
Desarrolla películas animadas, ilustra libros y realiza talleres en su productora, Planta Filmes, en São Paulo. Dirigió y animó Guida, película de animación con más de 70 premios nacionales y internacionales, entre ellos Animamundi, Annecy y Festival de La Habana. Rosana formó parte del equipo de animación de películas como Mulan,Tarzan y Lilo&Stich (Walt Disney Feature Animation). Actualmente, entre otros proyectos, está finalizando el cortometraje Safo, con el apoyo del BNDES.
Rosana Urbes is an animation director, animator, illustrator, and storyboarder.
She develops animated films, illustrates books, and conducts workshops at her production company, Planta Filmes, in São Paulo. She directed and animated Guida, an animated film that has won over 70 national and international awards, including Animamundi, Annecy, and the Havana Film Festival. Rosana was part of the animation team for films such as Mulan, Tarzan, and Lilo & Stitch (Walt Disney Feature Animation). Currently, among other projects, she is finishing the short film Safo, with the support of BNDES.
