In the shadow of China’s growing erasure of marginalized lives and the tightening state surveillance, a sudden disappearance of an elderly woman in the frigid winter propels her caregiver, Lin, on a relentless search. As Lin’s quest deepens, the boundaries between her and the mystery blur, entwining her fate with the vanishing she seeks to resolve.

Hanxiong Bo
Director de cine nacido y criado en Pekín. Estrenó su cortometraje Drifting en la 67ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián, donde obtuvo reconocimiento internacional y fue adquirido por Arte. Seleccionado para la Academia de Cineastas de Locarno 2024, actualmente prepara su primer largometraje. Tiene un grado en Cine y Artes Audiovisuales por el School of the Art Institute of Chicago y es magíster en Dirección por la UCLA.
Film director born and raised in Beijing. His short film Drifting premiered at the 67th San Sebastián International Film Festival, gaining international recognition and later acquired by Arte. Selected for the 2024 Locarno Filmmakers Academy, he is currently preparing for his debut feature film. He holds a BFA in Film and Video from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in Directing from UCLA.
