En 1974, Hiroshi, un actor mediocre que vive en Tokio, consigue el papel de Krokodor, un Kaiju que destruye todo. Tras varias horas de rodaje infernal, es despedido. Se pone a entrenar para estar a la altura de la audición que le espera pero no todo sale según lo previsto...
In 1974, Hiroshi, a mediocre actor who lives in Tokyo, is given the role of Krokodor, a Kaiju wreaking destruction. After several hours of hellish shooting, he is fired. He learns that an audition will be held to find his replacement. He vows to get his role back and sets off to train, to be up to the challenge of the casting that awaits him. But not everything goes according to plan…
